Job Description
Responsible for processing customers purchases accurately and efficiently at the checkout. Handles cash and card payments, issues receipts, assists customers, and ensures the checkout area is clean and organised.
– Scan items and process customer purchases – Handle cash, card and other payment methods – Issue receipts and give the correct change – Maintain accuracy in billing and transactions – Assist customers with inquiries at the checkout – Keep the cashier area clean and organized – Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor
