Job Description
Purchasing Manager Responsible for purchasing goods, negotiating with suppliers, checking prices. placing orders and ensuring products are available when needed. Maintains good supplier relationships and ensures purchases are made at the best price and quality.
– Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships – Source and negotiate with suppliers for best prices and terms – Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries. – Ensure availability of stock according to company needs – Control purchasing costs and maintain records. – Coordinate with stores and accounts departments
