Job Description
Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side. With a workforce over 400, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. CDL is currently looking for Boiler Operators to operate and adjust high pressure boilers in the steam generating plant.
The Boiler Operator shall be reporting to the Maintenance Engineer. What you will be doing: • Ensure no steam drop on boiler • Boiler water quality is conformed to standard • Boiler and ancillary equipment are all in good running condition • Fill in Communication and Logbook correctly • All safety equipment on boiler is in good running condition • Heat recovery system is fully operational • No effluent leakage to environment • Perform all other cognate duties as instructed by the Maintenance Engineer What are we looking for? • At least 2 years’ experience as Boiler Operator • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to ensure production levels are met including shift work, overtime and week ends • Candidate should be literate • Ability to work independently and in team • Good communication skills and motivated
