Job Description
Responsible for receiving, organizing, and replenishing merchandise on store shelves to ensure products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and easily accessible to customers. Assists with stock rotation, monitors inventory levels, maintains cleanliness and order in the sales area, and supports the smooth operation of the store while providing courteous assistance to customers when required.
Receive, unpack, and organize incoming stock. Replenish shelves and display products neatly and accurately. Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are correctly labelled with prices. Rotate stock using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to maintain product freshness. Check product expiry dates and remove damaged or expired items. Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to the supervisor. Keep shelves, aisles, and storage areas clean, tidy, and safe. Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking activities. Help customers locate products and answer basic inquiries. Load and unload goods as required. Follow company health, safety, and hygiene procedures. Support other store operations and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
