Job Description
ssisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Helping clients move safely, including transferring, walking, or using mobility aids. Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking. Administering or reminding clients to take prescribed medications (according to employer policies and training). Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and changing bed linens. Providing companionship and emotional support. Assisting with shopping, appointments, and other errands. Monitoring clients’ health and reporting any changes to supervisors, nurses, or family members. Supporting clients with daily activities and encouraging independence where possible. Maintaining accurate care records and documentation. Following health and safety procedures, including infection prevention and safeguarding policies. Respecting clients’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
