The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, developing innovative paint formulations, conducting laboratory testing, supporting research and development, and maintaining compliance with company and industry standards. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline. Sound knowledge of analytical laboratory techniques and laboratory instrumentation. Strong problem-solving, analytical and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control testing on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Conduct laboratory experiments, product trials and technical evaluations. Develop and improve product formulations to meet market and customer requirements. Investigate customer complaints and non-conforming products, recommending corrective actions. Maintain accurate laboratory records, technical documentation and test reports. Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Support ISO, Ecolabel and other quality management requirements. Train laboratory personnel on laboratory procedures and best practices. Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping within the laboratory.
