Job Description
The Fast-Food Operative / Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role includes preparing coffee and other drinks, handling customer orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Prepare and serve food, coffee, and other hot and cold beverages according to company standards. • Operate coffee machines and prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages. • Take customer orders, process payments, and provide friendly, efficient service. • Ensure food and beverages are presented to a high standard. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, coffee station, dining area, and equipment. • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures at all times. • Restock food, beverages, and supplies as required. • Receive and store deliveries in accordance with company procedures. • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash reconciliation. • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience.
