\n The Role:We are seeking a compliance associate to join our team in Ebene. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all our clients meet all statutory, legal, and compliance obligations.\u00a0Job description:Ensure that\u00a0Customer Due Diligence (CDD)\u00a0and\u00a0Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)\u00a0are properly conducted for clients before accepting engagements.Oversee\u00a0ongoing monitoring\u00a0of client relationships and ensure screening against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media databases.Ensure\u00a0record-keeping\u00a0of client identification, CDD documentation, and working papers for at least\u00a07 years\u00a0as per Companies Act.Conduct\u00a0periodic AML\/CFT risk assessments\u00a0of clients and firm-wide exposure.Ensure KYC procedures are applied consistently across all business lines.Assist in maintaining up-to-date\u00a0KYC checklists, forms, and proceduresEnsure that the firm complies with all applicable\u00a0laws, regulations, and internal policies, and to promote a culture of compliance and integrity across the organization.Ensure any breaches or non-compliance issues are promptly escalated and addressed.\u00a0Qualifications & Skills\u00a0:Degree or Diploma in Law, Business, or related field.Prior experience in\u00a0client onboarding,\u00a0KYC, or\u00a0audit firm administration\u00a0is an advantage.Knowledge of\u00a0AML\/CFT laws in Mauritius preferred.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.High attention to details and ability to work both independently and in team.<\/p>\n
