The Assistant Public Area Manager supports the Public Area Manager in overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation of all hotel public areas. The role ensures high standards of hygiene, safety, and aesthetics are consistently maintained in line with hotel brand standards.

\n What you\u2019ll do:\u2022Assist in supervising daily public area cleaning operations and staff scheduling\u2022Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, offices, and BOH areas\u2022Conduct regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented\u2022Coordinate with maintenance team for maintenance issues and follow up on completion\u2022Support deep-cleaning programs and special cleaning projects\u2022Assist in training and supervising public area attendants and supervisors\u2022Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning equipment and chemicals\u2022Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental standards\u2022Monitor guest feedback related to public areas and take corrective actions\u2022Assist with cost control, chemical usage, and inventory management\u2022Support banquet, conference, and event setups and post-event cleaning\u2022Maintain records, reports, and cleaning schedules\u2022Handle lost and found items in public areas as per hotel policy\u2022Act in the absence of the Public Area Manager when requiredWhat We\u2019re Looking For:\u2022HSC or Vocational Certificate\u2022Previous experience in public area or housekeeping operations\u2022Strong organizational and supervisory skills\u2022Good knowledge of cleaning standards, equipment, and chemicals\u2022Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays<\/p>\n
