Shangri-La Le Touessrok is looking for a potential and dynamic Assistant Financial Controller to join the Finance team.

\n Summary:Ensures accurate and complete general ledger and sub-ledger postings.Performs weekly\/monthly bank reconciliations.Reviews general ledger transactions and identifies trial balance abnormalities.Prepares monthly financial statements, operating reports and financial analyses.Supervises Income Audit, Accounts Receivable and Credit Management functions.Supervises Accounts Payable section including overseas payment.Conducts monthly spot checks of store and outlet inventory counts.Ensures accurate revenue recording, bank deposits and timely guest billing.Maintains and reconciles the fixed assets register, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.Prepares monthly T-GST, Bed Tax and WHT.Qualification and Experience:- Masters\/Diploma in Finance.- 5-7 years of progressive accounting\/finance experience with minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Assistant Financial Controller.Additional Requirements:Candidate should have knowledge on hotel accounting systems like Opera, SunSystems, SAP and Oracle.Candidate should be able to perform hospitality financial controls, audits and statutory reporting.Good knowledge on Budgeting, Financial Statements, Cost Control, Opex, Capex, P&L and forecasting is expected from candidate.Candidate should be well-versed in Mauritian Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations.Candidate should be competent in exposure to internal and external audit processes.Candidate should possess strong Analytical and Numerical skills.Candidate should be capable of acting as Financial Controller in his\/her absence.Candidate should be flexible to work extended hours during Month-End, Year-End, Audit and Budgeting periods.<\/p>\n
