\n Main duties:Together with the Head of Department to:Conduct selection, recruitment and promotion of respective team membersConduct Performance Appraisal and identify necessary training measures of Front Office team membersHandling and monitoring of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action requiredPrepare the Department budget (Capex, Opex etc)Set the annual operating budget and ensure that it is strictly adhere to and follow up on a monthly basisReceive report on rooms allocated to tours operators from CRO and plans allocation of roomsResponsible for:Make recommendations on team members\u2019 matters and promotionsTogether with HR develop and implement formal training plans for the DepartmentDirect and control his team to ensure that it\u2019s appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards; evaluate all employees supervisedCoordinate activities in his\/her department to ensure optimum care and assistance to guests and ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests al all timesFormulating a short and long term Team Member work schedule. Maintain a harmonious balance between necessary supervision and individual creativityFollow up on CRMFollow up of the Department Budget on a monthly basisPrepare monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordinglyMonitor and control inventories of work equipmentAllocate rooms as and when necessaryEstablish in line with the quality manager of all quality procedures and ensure that all the activities are done as per established hotel SOPEnsure that all areas satisfy the most stringent hygiene and sanitation requirements.Check list of arrivals, departures and billing of guests to ensure correct inputsAdhere to the legal provisions in drawing up work scheduleCandidate’s Profile:Diploma hospitality \/ tourism management or any other acceptable qualificationsAt least 5 years work-related experience in front-office operation with at least 3 years in a supervisory position and strong familiarity with hotel management systemFluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage<\/p>\n
