\n Responsibilities:Prepare mise en place for the bar including glasses, alcoholic\/nonalcoholic drinks, garnishes, equipment as per hotel\u2019 standardEnsure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for Mixing beverages and serving guestsMaintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beveragesPresent drink menu, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding beveragesAssess customers\u2019 needs and preferences and make recommendationsUp sells additional products and offer menu recommendationsPrepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snackMix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.Deliver drinks only upon receipt of micros docket for restaurantsServing guest in a friendly and helpful manner.Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol and if required refusing any further serving in a polite way.Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.Handle guest billing as per hotel\u2019s procedure\u00a0Requirements:Minimum School certificate\u00a0NC4 Certificate Bar\u00a0Proficient in the art of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks with precision.Comprehensive understanding of beverages and cocktail preparation.Competent in handling basic calculations for billing and point-of-sale processes.Micros or cash register\/ordering would be an advantage.Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.Extrovert and engaging personality.Highly organized and skilled at multitasking, performing well under pressure.<\/p>\n
