We are currently seeking a competent and experienced Accounts Lead to take charge of the day-to-day running of the Finance Department.

\n Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support \u00a0Accounts Clerks in:Processing Purchase Orders (PO), GRNs and invoice reconciliationDebtors\u2019 invoicingBank reconciliations, payments and queries\u00a0Review and check payments, ensuring:Correct castingProper authorisationApproval of any new bank accountCorrect deduction of Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) where applicableEnsure all creditors\u2019 invoices are processed on time and creditors\u2019 statements are reconciledRespond to creditors\u2019 and bank queriesEnsure all bank accounts are included in the cash management systemMonitor standing orders and direct debitsEnsure deposits are banked on timeReview daily bank reconciliations prepared by the Accounts Clerk\/OfficerCheck stock reconciliation against the ledger and carry out physical stock checksMaintain and update the Fixed Assets RegisterKeep records of all insurance covers and renewalsEnsure proper filing and safe keeping of financial documentsPrepare reports on leases and reclassification between current and non-current assetsAssist the Head Of Finance in preparing:Monitoring debtors and payablesInsurance, leasing and guarantee requirementsTDS and VAT reports\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare Management Reports\u00a0Profile & RequirementsFully qualified ACCAAt least 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experienceExperience in the construction sector will be a strong advantageStrong working knowledge of MS Office and accounting softwareGood understanding of financial controls and reportingStrong communication and analytical skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of confidentiality and professionalismFlexible with working hours and able to work outside normal office hours when required<\/p>\n
