Develop, implement and maintain safety and health policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and organizational standards.

\n Key Duties & Responsibilities:\u00a0To apply and ensure fire certificates are up to date.\u00a0Conduct regular risk assessments across all facilities;\u00a0identify\u00a0hazards and implement corrective measures to ensure a safe working environment.\u00a0Carry out monthly safety inspections and audits; prepare reports detailing observations, non\u2011conformities\u00a0and recommended improvements.\u00a0Identify\u00a0training needs and organize health and safety training sessions for employees, including emergency response, evacuation\u00a0procedures\u00a0and safe working\u00a0practices.\u00a0Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents or near misses; prepare detailed incident reports and recommend preventive measures.\u00a0Develop,\u00a0update\u00a0and implement emergency preparedness and response\u00a0plans;\u00a0including evacuation procedures and first\u2011aid readiness.\u00a0Ensure availability, proper\u00a0usage\u00a0and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all operational areas.\u00a0Assist\u00a0in the management and coordination of Health & Safety Committee activities, including meeting preparations and follow\u2011ups.\u00a0Prepare and\u00a0submit\u00a0periodic health and safety reports to management, highlighting trends,\u00a0risks\u00a0and improvement opportunities.\u00a0Collaborate with all departments to address safety concerns and foster a strong culture of safety within the organization.\u00a0Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.\u00a0Profile:\u00a0Education:\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health\u00a0or equivalent\u00a0qualifications.\u00a0Experience:\u00a0Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar Health & Safety role.Skills & Competencies:\u00a0Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations and best practices\u00a0Experience conducting audits, risk\u00a0assessments\u00a0and incident investigations\u00a0Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English & French)\u00a0Strong organizational skills with attention to detail\u00a0Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently\u00a0Proficiency\u00a0in Microsoft Office tools\u00a0Positive attitude and\u00a0strong team\u2011spirit\u00a0Ability to work flexible or irregular hours when\u00a0required\u00a0<\/p>\n
