Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Coordinator <\/p>\n
Job objective: Attend all issues related to the AC units within the various buildings in Port Louis and other locations

\n Qualifications or experience requirements: MIDT NC 4 in REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING or relevant experience in the field.Experience: candidates must haveGood communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to teamwork and driven by resultsAbility work independently and in teamStrong knowledge in A\/C repairs and maintenance, able to uninstall and install AC unitsAble to lift heavy equipment and work in both indoors and outdoors conditionsMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in similar fieldDuties: In-depth troubleshooting and repairs of the various AC UnitsPerform regular preventive maintenance including routine inspections, cleaning and maintenance to prevent equipment failureUninstall old units and install new AC units\/system as and when neededMaintain accurate and detailed logs of maintenance, repairs and other works conducted on the AC Units as well as the spare parts purchased and utilisedTrain and monitor junior technicians with on-the-job trainingEnsure compliance with health and safety standards (OSHA) during repairs and maintenanceAs and when needed, explain to clients\/tenants the proper way to utilise AC Units for longer usePerform any other cognate duties assigned\u00a0Note: This job may require working outside working hours including late nights and Sundays as and when required.<\/p>\n
