Assist the Head Sommelier in daily wine operations, including mise en place, service, decanting, and deliveries, while maintaining cleanliness and following SOPs. Ensure effective communication with all hotel departments.

\n Job Description\u2022 To support the Head Sommelier and the Outlet Sommelier on a day-today operation. To achieve the highest standards of cleanliness regarding the Mise en Place and to prepare bottles for service in the restaurant.\u2022 To perform the Mise en Place as per the \u201cHotel Name\u201d Standard Operating Procedures.\u2022 To help organize and check in deliveries.\u2022 To participate in the resort wine service as the Head Sommelier so wishes whether in any of the restaurants.\u2022 To follow the mise en place as written by the Head Sommelier.\u2022 To use the Standard procedures for Decanting and Carafing, Wine Service and Cigar Service.\u2022 To maintain good communications with all other Hotel departments.\u00a0\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0Qualification:\u2022 Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is aplus.Experience:\u2022 A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position including training.\u2022 Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.\u2022 Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.Technical skills:\u2022 Smell and developed tastes.\u2022 Good knowledge of the wines.\u2022 Good will and desire to learn.\u2022 Customer service skills.\u2022 Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.\u2022 Knowledge of a second language is a plus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
