\n Job Description\u2022 Responsible for a clean and proper mise en place.\u2022 Send the silverware for polishing to the stewarding department as assigned by superiors.\u2022 Carry food and beverages from kitchen \/ bar to service area professionally.\u2022 Serve guests according to set standard and procedures.\u2022 Collect soiled dishes from the tables and service stations and to dispatch to dish washing area.\u2022 Assists Chef de Rang in their tasks.\u2022 Maintain cleanliness in the Outlet, service station and back area.\u2022 Set up display\/buffet counter with plates \/ cutleries for different services.\u2022 Complete mise en place before the service starts.\u2022 Assigned to set up tables and serve meals.\u2022 Pick up requisition from storeroom as assigned to set up tables and serve meals.\u2022 Assist hostess to seat the guests.\u2022 Needs to know the menu by heart as well as chef\u2019s specials, buffet items and beverage list.\u2022 Answer to guests queries and to refer any complain \/ suggestion to Outlet Manager or hisAssistants.\u2022 Never go from Restaurant to kitchen with an empty tray and vice versa.\u2022 Perform any other duties as assigned by his superiors.\u00a0\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0Qualification:\u2022 Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is aplus.Experience:\u2022 A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position including training.\u2022 Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.\u2022 Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.Technical skills:\u2022 Multi-tasking.\u2022 Able to perform well in fast-paced environments.\u2022 Team spirit.\u2022 Active listening and effective communication skills.\u2022 Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system.\u2022 Fluency in English, or another language, written and verbal communication.\u2022 Knowledge of a second language is a plus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
