\n The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of HEAD HOUSEKEEPER based at SALT of palmar, Mauritius.The\u00a0incumbent will be responsible to:Ensure the proper management of\u00a0the day-to-day housekeeping operations and its Team Members.Oversee the efficient application and professional execution of all the Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to the Housekeeping department.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Supervise and ensure the\u00a0efficient cleaning and servicing operations to rooms and service areas as allocated.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Systematically check all rooms (departures, stays, ready vacant rooms) to ensure they have been cleaned and serviced to Hotels’ standards.Supervise\u00a0the work of the Valet and Maids, providing assistance and support as per the resort’s standards.Ensure all departmental practices and procedures are followed and implemented.\u00a0\u00a0Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times.Job QualificationsAt least a School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.Tertiary education at Advanced Certificate Level or Diploma majoring in Hotel Management, Tourism Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.Job ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of working experience in the Housekeeping Department of a 5 star resort.A minimum of 2 years of working experience as Assistant\u00a0Head Housekeeper or 4 years of working experience as Housekeeping Supervisor in a 5 star resort.Other RequirementsHigh level of integrity.Passionate about service.Creative and innovative.Strong interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service skills.\u00a0\u00a0Fully conversant with standard cleaning procedures and the correct usage and dosage of each cleaning chemical.Organised and demonstrates good planning skills.\u00a0Ability to work as a team player.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Highly responsible and reliable.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
