About the Role<\/p>\n
Welcome the guests at the entrance of the restaurant with a friendly manner, eye contact and pleasant appearance. Responsible for table\u2019s arrangement, reservation, guests\u2019 requests. Cleanliness of all menus and prepare all necessary documents for the restaurant before each service.

\n Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStart working as per scheduleNeatly dressed and well groomed at all times according to our standardConduct daily meeting with Asst & Restaurant Manager to express concerns and receive informationAlways ready by the door to greet guests, check their reservations and escort them to their tableTo know the hotel \u2018\u2018vision, mission, cores values & brand values\u2019\u2019Ability to work in any other restaurant whenever requiredPrepare reception area before serviceGreet guest with eye contact, smile and using guest nameSeat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.Politely request guests to wait in waiting area if no table is availableNotifies managers of any guest that is perceived to be unhappyConsistently displays a friendly, accessible and approachable attitude with all in house & outsider\u2019s guestIn order to make them feel welcomeAnswering the phone with pleasant voice, give information, take bookingsFollow hotel safety working procedureCommunication and feedback to managers for the interest of guestsRespond to guest\u2019s questions regarding services and facilities offered by the hotel and encourage them to take part in themRecommends all Restaurants and other revenue generating areas to our guestEnsure that guest\u2019s names and their correct titles are used at all timesAssist restaurant staff to reset tables on busy periodTo keep reception area clean and tidy all timeFile all memos in relevant files and update all informationAlways check guest\u2019s special requestsEnsure that all menus and drinks lists are in good conditions and in a correct number before each serviceCheck all tables set up according to the reservation listReconfirm all reservations everyday with F&B coordinatorNever leave the reception area empty, wait for your colleague to come back a minimum of one person has to be their all-time at the entranceInform each and everyone in the restaurant\/Chef for new arrivals, in order to coordinate the serviceMaintains a favorable working relationship with all other employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working environmentEnsures that special requests, dietary requirements, anniversaries and birthdays are observed and ensures this information is noted on the reservation sheet as well as communicated to all team membersResponsible for recording guest feedbacks in relevant filesAttend meeting and training when requestedMaking conversation to guests during meal period and find out their likes and dislikesTo ensure that service is discrete and efficient at all timesReport all comments, complains, problems from guest to the Asst\/Restautant managerEnsure that we have enough reading glasses, umbrellas, pashminas ready for serviceTo be fully aware of the hotel\u2019s safety proceduresCollect special orderings from store (eg-papers, menus folders etc)Maintain guest history (allergies, preferences etc)Bid farewell and thank the guest upon departure, ensures everything was at their satisfaction and invites them to returnReport to managers \u201cforgotten items\u201d\u00a0About YouThe ideal candidate should have at least a school certificate or high school. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury Resort and\u00a0must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.\u00a0<\/p>\n
