    Job Summary
    Responsible for welding assignments.
    Responsibilities
    Cutting and preparing various materials for machining and welding.
    Operate multiple types of machinery and equipment throughout the Welding department and perform various tasks in accordance with approved quality standards.
    Executing welding projects.
    Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.
    Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
    Generating welding procedures to help the assembly and welding teams.
    Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.
    Perform welding and fabrication of valve bodies, bonnets and associated components where approved.
    Carry out valve modifications and machining repairs as instructed.
    Person Specifications/Qualifications
    Minimum of OND/HND in Mechanical  Engineering, Welding & Fabrication or related discipline.
    Trade Test, City & Guilds or relevant welding/machining certification is an advantage.
    Minimum of 3 years industrial welding experience.
    Competent in SMAW Arc, GTAW TIG and GMAW MIG welding processes.
    Ability to learn to set-up, run and troubleshoot all welding equipment in a safe manner
    Ability to read and interpret measuring devices, drawings and blueprints and the ability to display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    Practical machining and welding experience on industrial valves and valve components.
    Experience operating manual lathe, milling, drilling and grinding machines.
    Strong organizational skills.
    Computer literate.
    Experience in industrial valve repair is an added advantage.
    Good communication and teamwork.

    Job Summary
    The Valve Technician position performs cleaning, assembly and disassembly, maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on valves.
    Responsibilities
    Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
    Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at the plant and client locations.
    Conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic and seat leakage testing.
    Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control standards that apply to the job.
    Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
    Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
    Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
    Work closely with co-workers, management and HSE officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
    Support offshore/onshore shutdowns when required.
    Requirements
    Person Specification / Qualifications:
    Minimum of OND / HND / B.Eng in Mechanical  Engineering or a related discipline.
    3-7 years industrial valve repair experience.
    Familiar with tools and machinery required to perform daily valve repair duties.
    Experience with repairing various valves and actuators, whether pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric.
    Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    Experience with pressure testing and precision measuring instruments.
    Offshore experience is an added advantage.
    Candidate must have a strong analytical disposition.
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    Job Summary
    Surface cleaning, preparation, and sandblasting. Applying primer and topcoat to valves, in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
    Responsibilities
    Clean and prepare surface areas prior to sandblasting.Prepare valve surfaces by abrasive blasting and masking.
    Complete pre-start equipment checks.
    Carry out abrasive sandblasting and industrial painting of valves in accordance with policies and procedures.
    Maintain sandblasting tools and equipment.
    Accurately maintain required records and documentation for each project.
    Responsibly manage consumable supplies and raw materials.
    Inspect units and parts scheduled to be painted
    Clean and wipe down valves
    Mix paints and primers to exact specifications ordered by the customer
    Use both large and small spraying equipment for appropriate areas of painting including compressors, sandblasters, and other power equipment
    Maintain painting equipment to ensure proper performance
    Inspect painted units for flaws occurring in the initial painting process
    Sand and prepare surfaces for repairing any imperfections
    Clean paint booth and equipment with the use of solvents
    Follow ALL corporate safety requirements and standards, including but not limited to the use of respiratory equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/goggles, steel toed boots, etc.
    Maintain a safe and clean workstation.

    Person Specification /Qualifications
    Minimum of OND/HND in Mechanical  Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Welding & Fabrication, or related discipline.
    Trade Test, Vocational Training or certification in Industrial Blasting & Painting or Automotive Spray Painting is an added advantage.
    3 Years + of industrial valve blasting and painting experience in the Oil & Gas, Automotive or Power Sector.
    Able to maintain and use Abrasive Blasting Equipment.
    Previous experience using sandblasting and painting or automotive spray-painting tools and equipment preferred.
    Attention to detail
    Enjoys working in a team environment
    Strong HSE culture.
    Understand surface preparation, paint mixing and coating application.

    Job Description
    To ensure that manufactured products are in line with relevant standards and internal control standards.
    Check raw materials, parts, and entire products that are being processed in the Valve Assembly Plant.
    Ensure tests are run, records of defects are kept, products are analysed, and oversee procedures so that each product measures up to the company’s standards.
    Responsibilities
    Select a random sample of valves and check them carefully using special gauges.
    Check work orders or blueprints to make sure products are up to company standards.
    Note problems in products, reject them when necessary, and sort them according to the kind of defect. Send products for repair / fix minor problems.
    Record the results of inspections, compute the proportion of products that are defective, and prepare reports.
    Collaborate with the Plant and  Engineering managers to determine the cause of recurring defects.
    Conduct product tests and assessments using appropriate test methods, checking that specifications are met, and that the product works as intended.
    Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic and seat leakage tests.
    Drive the process for actualization of API 6D.
    Act in the capacity of valve storekeeper and equipment logger until otherwise advised.
    Identify product defects or potential issues and determine what to do to resolve the issue.
    Record and report issues to help identify and eliminate recurring problems and provide a paper trail to aid in accountability and error reporting. Provide the reports to supervisors/plant manager to help them make decisions about manufacturing processes and practices.
    Support process improvements throughout the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that products are produced consistently, and that defects or other errors will not persist throughout the manufacturing process.
    Support the plant physically and mentally in achieving it set goals.
    Support internal and external audits.
    Requirements
    Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Geology, IT or a related discipline.
    Experience in a Valve Assembly Plant is a must.
    Certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, HSE Levels 1–3, ASNT Level II VT/PT/MT, and Coating Inspection AMPP/NACE Level 1 are added advantages.
    ASME and API 510/570/598 knowledge is an added advantage.
    At least 3 years’ QAQC experience in a production environment.
    Solid Product testing skills.
    Practical experience in valve inspection and testing.
    Attention to detail to ensure effective assessment and analysis.
    Adept problem-solving skills.
    Skilled at proposing and implementing solutions to production defects and recurring quality control issues
    Sound oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    Safety consciousness and self-motivated.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Sound understanding of blueprints and mathematics.
    Knowledge of industrial valves and valve components.
    Valve inspection and quality control.
    Sound computer skills.
    Good written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
    Proven experience working with minimum supervision.
