    Key duties and responsibilities
    Spending at least 50% of their time coaching and monitoring personnel
    To provide appropriate training in the Company’s HSE Policies, Procedures and Safe Working practices, for all personnel onboard
    To monitor ongoing operations at the worksite in order to confirm that tasks are being carried out in compliance with the Company’s HSE Policies, Procedures, and Safe Working practices
    To promote the Company’s Safe Behaviour Program through coaching, and the continuous development and roll out of campaign material
    Supporting and advising the Master/OIM, Department Heads, and Supervisors on Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
    Required skills and experience
    Previous experience as a Safety Officer offshore
    Minimum 3 Years relative experience
    Previous experience on similar vessel
    Excellent communication skills
    Excellent Presentation Skills
    NEBOSH General Certificate
    Must have ISPON/IOSH
    Radio Active Officer Safety Training.

    Maintain medical stocks and records as required
    Conduct training exercises onboard with First Aiders and members of medical emergency team
    Maintain a Confidential Medical Log
    Maintain and submit Injury Reports.
    Required skills and experience
    Qualified Medical Practitioner from school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools
    Participate in a revalidation programme that ensures maintenance of their medical skills
    Previous experience in handling medical emergencies
    Minimum 5 years offshore experience
    Offshore Medic Certificate
    Medic’s License to Practice.

    Carry out hygiene inspections with Master/OIM on minimum weekly basis
    Assist Administrator if not applicable then Radio Room Admin Operator in the movement of personnel arriving and departing installation
    Assist in helicopter briefings, baggage weights etc.
    Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the Master/OIM, providing those duties do not impede or restrict medical duties
    Provides clinical care for personnel onboard and refer cases to company doctors whenever necessary
    Monitors the general health of the crew, including respiratory and skin screening and advises Master/OIM on occupational health matters.

    Occupational Health Certificate
    Registered Medical Doctor

    The role is ‘hands on’ and will require that the majority of the working shift is spent on deck
    Assist in the planned maintenance routines of Life Saving Appliances, Fire Fighting equipment and other marine equipment under the direction of the Barge Master/Engineer
    Establish and maintain a Bosun’s store/workshop for use in the completion of Bosun’s duties
    Assist in the issue, control and inventory of lifting equipment from the Lifting Gear Locker
    Ensure lifting equipment is checked before issue and is fit for purpose
    Current color code I.D. and SWL to be clearly marked.
    Required skills and experience
    Relevant Offshore Certification
    Deck Rating 1
    Previous suitable experience as a Bosun offshore or Chief Petty Officer at sea
    Leadership and direction of colleagues
    Organizational skills and self-motivation
    5 years’ relative experience.

    Ensure a Lifting Assessment/Plan in place for all lifting operations, involving all those participating in the lifting operation
    Perform pre-use checks of the Lifting Appliance prior to commencing any operations
    Any defects must be recorded and passed to the Barge Master or designate in a timely manner
    Shall report any damage or incidents that occur to the crane or structure during lifting operations immediately to the Barge Master or designate
    Select appropriate lifting gear for the lift in question ensuring the valid lifting colour code in use.
    Required skills and experience
    Stage 3 Crane Operator
    Recent and extensive experience in NOV Knuckleboom Cranes
    Minimum 5 years experience as a CO on a drillship
    Deck Rating 1 or 2 is an added advantage
    Fire Team Leader
    Helideck Team Training
    Helicopter Landing Officer.
