    Job Description:
    The Sports Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering structured sports training programmes that prepare students for the school’s Inter-House Sports Competition and other sporting events. The coach will identify and develop students’ athletic abilities, promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and competitions.
    Responsibilities:
    Identify and train students for Inter-House Sports competitions.
    Develop and implement structured training programmes.
    Improve students’ fitness, skills, and teamwork.
    Organize selection trials and practice sessions.
    Ensure safety during all sporting activities.
    Maintain sports equipment and training records.
    Promote discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
    Assist in planning and coordinating school sports events.
    Qualifications
    Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education PHE, Sports Science, or a related field.
    Professional coaching certification is an added advantage.
    First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
    Experience
    Minimum of 3 years’ experience coaching school-age athletes.
    Experience organizing or coaching students for Inter-House Sports competitions.
    Experience in athletics coaching is highly desirable.
