Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership: Oversee and supervise daily teaching and learning activities to ensure academic excellence.
Administrative Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date school records and ensure timely submission of required returns to the Zone and Ministry of Education.
Community Relations: Effectively manage and foster positive relationships with the Parent-Teacher Association PTA and the School-Based Management Committee SBMC.
Discipline & Conduct: Enforce and maintain high standards of discipline, professional conduct, and ethics among both staff and pupils.
Active Teaching: Lead by example by teaching at least one class.
Child Nurturing: Demonstrate a genuine passion for guiding young children, maintaining a positive attitude and impeccable professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Minimum of an NCE Nigeria Certificate in Education or B.Ed Bachelor of Education.
Professional Certification: Mandatory TRCN registration.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of active classroom teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
