We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environment HSE Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
Organize HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
Ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws and regulatory requirements.
Monitor the use of PPE and enforce safe work practices.
Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
Relevant HSE certifications e.g., NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA, IOSH will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
