    Job Description

    Reporting: Tax Coordinator
    Job Purpose / Mission
    The Accountant will play a key role on the finance and accounting team.
    The role is expected to actively participate in compliance activities, month-end close, preparing, or reviewing all monthly reconciliations.
    The accountant will report directly to the Tax coordinator and work closely with all other departments.
    Key Responsibilities
    Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including personal and company income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and other relevant taxes.
    Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and adapt to the organization’s processes and strategies accordingly.
    Preparation of tax provisions and financial statements to comply with accounting standards.
    Ensure 0% fines because of non-compliance with statutory obligations
    Review weekly payment schedules to ensure accurate taxes have been applied.
    Process and obtain all regulatory certificates, e.g. TCC, etc.
    Participate actively in desk reviews and tax audits to ensure prompt closure.
    Reconcile all compliance related general ledgers and propose journals for adjustment postings monthly.
    Monitor the insurance tracker to ensure zero risk exposure at every point in time through prompt policy renewals, new asset insurance cover and extension of cover with adequate sum insured.
    Participate in annual external audits from a compliance standpoint and collaborate with other team members in other areas as necessary.
    Effectively manage the relationships with external stakeholders within your purview tax consultants, insurance brokers, vendors, auditors, etc.
    Participate in all compliance related projects by carrying out assigned tasks.
    Qualifications
    HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related qualification
    Relevant professional certifications ACA, ACCA, CFA, etc. Preferred.
    Experience:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
    Languages:
    English
    Knowledge and skills:
    Computer, Excel skills, and accounting systems preferably Odoo
    Attention to detail, strong organizational skills
    Enjoy working with a team to achieve joint goals
    Demonstration of integrity and honesty
    Demonstrated resourcefulness in proposing new ways of driving accounting efficiency.
    Strong experience in income statements and balance sheet analysis.

    Job Purpose / Mission
    The Inventory Accountant will play a key role on the finance and accounting team.
    The role is expected to actively participate in Inventory management, Inventory reconciliations, month-end close, preparing or reviewing all monthly reconciliations.
    The accountant will report directly to the Tax Coordinator and work closely with all other departments.
    Key Responsibilities
    Ensure accurate computation of landed cost by capturing all applicable procurement, freight, customs duty, clearing, and logistics expenses for inventory valuation and reporting purposes.
    Improve efficiency and accuracy in landed cost allocation across imported goods to support proper cost analysis, pricing decisions, and financial reporting.
    Ownership of all inventory-related postings in Odoo.
    Perform a monthly reconciliation with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of Physical inventory to Odoo Count and value.
    Work with Operations Inventory Manager to plan and participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts across warehouses, and service centers.
    Continuously evaluate inventory workflow processes and system setups to improve tracking accuracy and reduce cycle time.
    Reconcile all inventory related general ledgers and propose journals for adjustment postings monthly.
    Work with all stakeholders to ensure inventory loss is eliminated.
    Participate in annual external audits and collaborate with other team members in other areas, as necessary.
    Effectively manage the relationships with external stakeholders within your purview
    Responsible for the accuracy of Kit BOM records, production of and disassembly of kits as required by the operations team
    Manage all SLOBs and advise management on how to effectively maximize value from all SLOB items.
    Requirements
    Qualifications
    3 years minimum work experiencein a similar position
    Experience:
    HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related qualification
