    Job Summary
    We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Registrar in Radiology to join our dynamic Radiology Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a doctor pursuing specialist training in diagnostic imaging to develop clinical expertise while working alongside experienced consultant radiologists in a supportive learning environment.
    The successful candidate will participate in the provision of high-quality diagnostic imaging services, multidisciplinary patient care, and academic activities, while contributing to the department’s commitment to excellence.
    Key Responsibilities
    Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies under appropriate supervision.
    Assist in reporting X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopic examinations according to training level.
    Participate in image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures as appropriate.
    Collaborate with referring clinicians to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis and management.
    Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and departmental teaching sessions.
    Take part in the departmental on-call rota where applicable.
    Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with departmental protocols and quality assurance standards.
    Participate in audit, research, and continuous professional development activities.
    Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles and infection prevention policies.
    Essential Requirements
    Medical Degree MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent.
    Full registration and current license to practice with the relevant Medical and Dental Council.
    Successful completion of internship and any mandatory national service where applicable.
    Enrolment in, or eligibility for, a recognized postgraduate radiology training programme.
    Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to high standards of patient care.
    Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

    The Junior Registrar will play an integral role in delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based medical care to patients within the assigned department.
    The successful candidate will participate in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients while receiving supervision and mentorship from senior clinicians.

    The successful candidate will be expected to:

    Qualifications and Experience
