    Job Description

    Job Summary
    The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing, tracking, and safeguarding all construction materials, tools, and equipment used in real estate development projects.
    This role ensures accurate stock records, timely availability of resources, and compliance with company policies to support smooth project execution.
    Key Responsibilities
    Inventory Management:
    Maintain accurate records of all construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
    Monitor stock levels and initiate timely reorders to prevent shortages.
    Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
    Procurement & Logistics Support:
    Collaborate with procurement team to verify deliveries against purchase orders.
    Ensure proper documentation of goods received and issued.
    Coordinate with site supervisors for timely distribution of materials to construction sites.
    Compliance & Reporting:
    Implement inventory control procedures in line with company policies.
    Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
    Flag discrepancies, losses, or damages and recommend corrective actions.
    Operational Efficiency:
    Optimize storage systems to reduce wastage and improve accessibility.
    Track usage of materials per project to support cost control and budgeting.
    Ensure safety standards are adhered to in handling and storing construction materials.
    Qualifications & Skills
    Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
    Experience:
    3–5 years in inventory management, preferably in the construction or real estate sector.
    Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
    Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
    Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
    Soft Skills:
    Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

    Job Description

    Job Summary
    The Blocks Production Officer will support the Production Officer in overseeing the daily operations and manufacturing processes for the production of Mshel building blocks and machinery.
    The role involves assisting in coordinating production schedules, monitoring quality control, troubleshooting operational issues, and helping to optimize production efficiency.
    Key Responsibilities
    Support the Production Officer in leading the manufacturing team and overseeing all aspects of the production process.
    Help develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and meet project Timelines.
    Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and quality
    Assist in the implementation of quality control measures and protocols to ensure products meet specifications.
    Troubleshoot equipment problems and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly.
    Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper operating procedures and safety protocols.
    Analyze production data and provide reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Production Officer.
    Conduct routine checks on machinery and equipment, reporting faults or irregularities promptly.
    Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Inventory to coordinate production needs.
    Recommend process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance overall operational efficiency.
    Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
    2-3 years of experience in the production of blocks and troubleshooting of machinery
    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the production team
    Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
    Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
    Familiarity with machinery operations and maintenance procedures
