    Job Summary (Purpose of the Role)
    Provides overall strategic, operational and commercial leadership of the bank.
    Accountable to the Board for profitability, regulatory compliance, growth of the loan and deposit portfolio, and the safety of depositors’ funds, while directly driving the sales agenda.

    Job Responsibilities
    Provide daily leadership and direction to all heads of department; chair the morning huddle to review previous day’s figures (deposits, disbursements, PAR, cash position).
    Drive deposit mobilisation and loan growth targets; personally manage key/high-value customer relationships and prospect for institutional deposits.
    Approve loans within delegated limit and chair the Management Credit Committee.
    Review daily financial position, liquidity ratio and portfolio-at-risk (PAR) reports.
    Ensure compliance with CBN/NDIC regulations and rendition of all statutory returns.
    Represent the bank before CBN, NDIC, tax authorities, trade associations and the Onitsha business community.
    Implement Board decisions and report monthly on performance vs.budget.
    Oversee staff performance management, discipline and a strong service/sales culture.
    Educational Qualification
    B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline. MBA or MSC an advantage.
    Professional Certification:
    ICAN (ACA) or ACCA chartered/part-qualified strongly preferred; CIBN MCP an advantage. For CBN-recognised Head of Finance status, professional accounting qualification is expected.
    Experience Required:
    Minimum of 7 years’ accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a bank or other financial institution (MFB experience preferred). Hands-on experience preparing CBN/NDIC returns and statutory financial statements.
    Technical / Job Skills:
    IFRS financial reporting
    Preparation of monthly management accounts and budgets
    CBN monthly/quarterly returns (via CBN approved portals)
    Tax computation (CIT, WHT, PAYE, VAT)
    Fixed asset & payroll management
    Bank reconciliation; strong Excel skills
    Core banking GL administration.

    Job Summary (Purpose of the Role)
    Serves as the face of the bank at the counter — receiving deposits, paying withdrawals and keeping a perfectly balanced till, while giving fast and friendly service to Onitsha’s trading customers.
    Job Responsibilities
    Collect till float from the vault and confirm opening cash in the register.
    Receive cash/cheque deposits, verify counts and counterfeit-check notes before posting.
    Pay withdrawals after proper verification of signature/ID/BVN and available balance.
    Post all transactions in the core banking application immediately and issue receipts.
    Refer transactions above personal limit to the Head of Operations for authorisation.
    Keep the till locked at all times when away; never leave cash unattended.
    Balance the till at close of business: physical cash = system position; report any difference immediately.
    Sort/band notes, bag excess cash to the vault, and prepare the daily teller proof.
    Head Teller (from Dec): supervise other tellers, manage bulk/market deposits and coordinate cash evacuation.
    Requirements
    Educational Qualification: Minimum of OND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or related field
    Professional Certification: None mandatory; basic banking operations training an advantage.
    Experience Required: 1-2 years’ cash handling experience in a bank, MFB, POS/agency banking or retail environment. Head Teller: 3+ years including supervisory cash management. Fresh graduates with strong numeracy may be considered for training.
    Technical / Job Skills: Fast and accurate cash counting; counterfeit note detection; core banking teller module; receipt/payment posting; till balancing and proof preparation; basic Excel; POS/cash deposit machine handling.
    Soft Skills & Attributes: Honesty and transparency; accuracy under pressure; courtesy and patience with market customers; alertness; teamwork.The ability to speak igbo language is a compulsory requirement.

    Job Summary (Purpose of the Role)
    Manages the people and physical resources of the bank — recruitment, staff records, welfare, discipline, and the day-to-day administration of the premises, supplies and service vendors.
    Job Responsibilities
    Open the admin day by confirming the branch is ready: power, generator/diesel, cleaning done, security posted.
    Manage recruitment: advertise roles, screen CVs, schedule interviews and complete onboarding/documentation of new hires (guarantors, references, BVN, credentials).
    Maintain accurate personnel files, contracts, confirmation and leave records.
    Prepare monthly payroll input (attendance, deductions, new hires/exits) for Finance.
    Coordinate staff training plans, including mandatory AML/CFT and CBN-required trainings.
    Administer office supplies, stationery and procurement within budget; manage vendors (diesel, internet, maintenance).
    Track attendance/punctuality and escalate disciplinary issues per the staff handbook.
    Organise staff meetings, welfare programmes and performance appraisal cycles.
    Maintain insurance, licences and utility payments for the premises.
    Educational Qualification
    B.Sc. / HND qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Public Administration or related field.
    Professional Certification:
    CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) student or associate membership an advantage.
    Experience Required:
    Minimum of 3-5 years in HR and/or office administration, Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices, Experience in microfinance or retail banking environment or structured SME.
    Technical / Job Skills:
    Recruitment and onboarding; payroll data preparation; HR records and leave administration; performance appraisal coordination; procurement and vendor management; facility/fleet management; proficiency in MS Word, Excel and HRIS tools.
