Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, caring, and creative Montessori Primary School Teacher to join our learning community Royalville Elementary School, Ita-Oshin. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and child-centered classroom environment that supports the academic, emotional, social, and physical development of children in line with Montessori principles.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Montessori-based lessons and activities.
Create a prepared classroom environment that encourages independence and exploration.
Observe, assess, and document students’ progress and development.
Support children’s emotional, social, and academic growth.
Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Supervise students during classroom and outdoor activities.
Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and learning materials.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Qualifications and Requirements
NCE/ND
Valid teaching license/certification where applicable.
Experience teaching primary/elementary-aged children preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
Passion for child-centered learning and student success.
