Summary
Are you experienced in coordinating trucks, drivers, and deliveries? We are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the movement of company trucks and other vehicles.
Plan and monitor daily dispatch and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely loading, transportation, and delivery of goods.
Supervise and communicate effectively with truck drivers.
Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and mileage.
Schedule routine maintenance and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle documents, repairs, and logistics activities.
Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
Resolve logistics challenges and provide timely updates to management.
Requirements
HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, fleet, or transport management.
Experience managing trucks and commercial vehicles is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Knowledge of road networks and transport operations within Nigeria is an added advantage.
Must be resident in Asaba, Delta State.
