    Job Description

    Role Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated Stock Control Officer to ensure the financial and operational integrity of our business processes.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the examination, verification, and evaluation of operational activities to ensure that appropriate internal controls are functioning effectively and in compliance with company policies.
    Key Responsibilities
    Inventory & Monitoring: Participate in daily opening and closing product tank dips and witness the ullaging of loaded trucks.
    Reporting: Generate daily loading and ROB reports for the Risk Officer and provide independent, objective reports on investigations into errors or irregularities.
    Audit & Compliance: Conduct retail station audits, year-end inventory counts, and periodic fixed asset verifications.
    Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of dispatch and security registers and review diesel dispensing registers for accuracy.
    Internal Controls: Implement audit strategies and action plans to promote transparency and accountability while identifying potential fraud risks or governance issues.
    Process Improvement: Evaluate business procedures to guard against fraud and recommend operational improvements to the unit head.
    Qualifications and Skills
    Education: A B.Sc. or HND with a minimum of Second Class Upper/Upper Credit in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or Economics.
    Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and investigate suspected internal fraud or errors.
    Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work with the ability to multi-task and maintain accurate documentation.
    Communication: Excellent IT and communication skills, with the ability to report complex audit findings clearly and timely.
    Adaptability: Ability to work independently or as part of a team while adjusting to changing circumstances.

    Job Summary
    The primary purpose of this role is to manage our inventory lifecycle, oversee store layout, and maintain precise records of all purchased items while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe storage environment.
    Key Responsibilities
    Inventory & Stock Control: Confirm stock availability, receive/collect materials, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders to ensure uniformity.
    Daily Operations: Issue stock to workers, monitor material usage, and proactively raise requisitions for re-order levels.
    A.G.O Coordination: Manage the transfer and dispatch of A.G.O to all usage locations. This includes daily approvals, usage analysis reporting, and conducting quality tests via hydrometers and lab analysis.
    Reporting & Documentation: Perform weekly physical counts and maintain detailed spreadsheets for all shipments and store equipment. Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly stock status reports.
    Logistics Liaison: Track requisition statuses with the procurement team to address delays and notify them immediately of out-of-stock items.
    Qualifications & Experience
    A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    5 – 20 Years of proven experience in managing supply chain operations. Familiarity with supply chain management software such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, or Envision is highly preferred.
    Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access and a sound knowledge of bookkeeping.
    Core Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership abilities, and exceptional time-management skills to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Summary
    The Compliance and Documentation Officer is responsible for identifying, measuring, and managing regulatory and legal risks within the organization.
    This role functions independently to evaluate ethical issues, ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, and oversee the critical documentation and tendering processes necessary for business continuity.
    The officer will act as a safeguard for company assets and a primary liaison with external regulatory bodies.
    Key Responsibilities
    Policy & Regulatory Compliance:
    Assist in developing, maintaining, and revising policies for general operations.
    Conduct regular assessments of the organization’s compliance and risk management culture.
    Interface with external regulatory bodies—including NNPC, PPMC, DPR, and NCD—to ensure all directives are met and issues are resolved.
    Follow up on current compliance knowledge to resolve issues effectively and drive a culture of transparency.
    Operational Monitoring & Audit:
    Conduct periodic compliance reviews and statutory inspections to ensure conformity with existing procedures.
    Monitor the adequacy of business controls and identify potential areas of vulnerability.
    Ensure that the Group’s local and international assets are adequately insured against loss or damage.
    Document Control & Asset Management:
    Obtain, document, and securely file original company asset documents.
    Manage the process for acquiring and renewing relevant regulatory certifications and licenses.
    Ensure all compliance-related communication is current, accessible, and comprehensive for all employees.
    Tender Documentation & Submission:
    Source and tender for bids via the NipeX portal.
    Liaise with Federal, State, and Local Government agencies to ensure all statutory approvals, permits, and licenses are obtained timely.
    Track and close action plans within the compliance reporting system.
    Health, Safety, and Environment HSE:
    Actively participate in and promote company health and safety campaigns and policies.
    Maintain occupational health and safety standards within the office environment.
    Requirements
    Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND Second Class Upper/Upper Credit in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
    Experience: At least four 4 years of relevant experience in internal control, compliance, or auditing within a similar industry.
    Professional Certification: Relevant certifications such as Certification in Risk Management Assurance CRMA or equivalent are highly desirable.
    Key Competencies & Skills
    Technical: Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit & assurance.
    Analytical: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to conduct investigations into suspected errors or irregularities.
    Soft Skills: Excellent communication verbal and written, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    Organization: Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
    IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with industry-relevant software.
