Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support all core HR functions within our Home Appliance business.
The ideal candidate must have prior HR experience in the home appliance or consumer electronics industry, with hands-on experience supporting brands such as TCL, Hisense, Midea, Haier, LG, Samsung, or similar.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales, retail, service engineers, warehouse, and office staff.
Coordinate onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, and grievance resolution.
Monitor attendance, leave, and other HR administrative processes.
Prepare HR reports and maintain HR metrics.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal HR policies.
Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Partner with department managers to address manpower and organizational needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within the home appliance or consumer electronics industry.
Experience working with brands such as TCL, Hisense, Midea, Haier, LG, Samsung, or similar is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Professional HR certification CIPM, PHRi, SHRM, CIPD, etc. is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate:
Experience supporting retail and field sales teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
