Subjects Covered: All subjects in the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum JSS & SSS levels
Conduct practical sessions where applicable and ensure safe use of equipment
Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external examinations
Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programmes
Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications & Requirements
B.Sc. Ed., B.Ed., or B.Sc. + PGDE in any relevant discipline
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at secondary school level
Strong knowledge of WAEC/NECO syllabi and examination standards
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in digital tools and e-learning platforms is an advantage
