Job Specification/ Requirements:
Good knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles, regulations, processes, systems, procedures, and practices.
Expert knowledge of general maintenance processes and systems.
Good understanding of plant processes and procedures.
Project and contractor management.
Coaching of artisans.
Auditing as required
Communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
Provide Technical Support.
Able to work under pressure.
Task orientated and natural drive to complete tasks timeously
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work in hot and cold environment, heights, and confined areas.
Ability to work standby and shift work as and when required.
Able to support the organization in times of emergencies.
Proficient in the official business language, good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate efficiently to team members.
Suitable candidate will be required to perform other duties that are related to the function as prescribed by business requirements.
Valid driver’s license
Education/Qualification & Experience
Minimum: N6 National Diploma in electrical engineering Qualifications or Higher National Diploma in electrical engineering from University of technology
Minimum experience: ECSA approved candidate technician program + 3 years, or N6 + 8 years in Heavy Industry, Automation and instrumentation
Computer literacy:
MS Office
SAP (advantageous) HMI Software
PLC software
