Are you a motivated and detail-oriented graduate ready to kick-start your career in accounting? We’re looking for a SAICA or SAIPA Articles Clerk to join a dynamic and supportive team where you’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of clients and industries.
Requirements:
Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
Completed or studying towards a BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with a proactive attitude
Duties:
Assisting with the full financial function, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assisting with tax compliance, VAT returns, and other regulatory filings
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing the payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Supporting audits and liaising with Auditors
Maintaining and updating accounting systems
