Key responsibilities: 

Strategic leadership: 

Support the CEO in translating vision into execution. Guide department heads to ensure alignment, clarity of goals, and operational excellence across the business.
Drive strategic planning, OKRs, retros, and operational alignment.
Collaborate with the CEO on special projects and business development.

Cross-functional oversight

Lead and unify heads of Digital Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Ads.
Drive effective collaboration and accountability across teams.
Lead cross-departmental projects and ensure follow-through and ownership of key deliverables.

Finance leadership

Partner with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
Leverage key SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn) to inform decisions and mentor financial thinking.
Oversee financial operations and strategic partnerships.

Operational excellence

Own business operations and implement scalable systems, processes, and project management to drive efficiency and delivery of key initiatives.
Oversee and continuously improve internal workflows and service delivery.

People & culture

Champion a high-performance culture, working with HR to shape organizational design, talent development, and employee experience.
Coach and support senior managers to improve leadership and team output.

Marketing & growth alignment

Collaborate with marketing leads to align strategy, brand, and performance goals.
Ensure ad spend and growth efforts deliver measurable results that align with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a COO, Chief of Staff, or similar executive role
5+ years in a senior management capacity
Experience in a SaaS business
Project management expertise (certifications like PMP, Agile a plus)
Experience rolling out operational frameworks (e.g., EOS, OKRs)
Proven experience overseeing multiple departments and leading department heads
Background in the marketing industry, advertising, martech, SaaS, or a related digital-first business
Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn) and business drivers
Demonstrated success in scaling operations and driving cross-functional alignment
Financial literacy with experience guiding budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation
Strong leadership, communication, and team development capabilities
Proficient in project management and operational execution in fast-paced environments
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus
