Requirements

Pricing Strategy Development:

Develop and implement competitive and profitable pricing models across all banking products.
Benchmark pricing against competitors and market trends to ensure Access Bank remains competitive
Recommend pricing adjustments based on market dynamics and internal cost analysis

Profitability Analysis:

Lead analysis of customer, segment, and product profitability using activity-based costing and margin analysis.
Identify underperforming areas and provide actionable insights to enhance revenue and profitability.
Support strategic business decisions with accurate profitability reporting.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate with product managers, finance, and sales teams to review and optimize pricing strategies.
Advise business units on pricing implications for new products or modifications to existing ones.
Provide insights into pricing elasticity and customer behavior.

Financial Modelling and Forecasting:

Build financial models to simulate pricing scenarios and their impact on margin and revenue targets.
Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process with pricing data and assumptions.

Governance and Compliance:

Ensure pricing decisions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain documentation and framework of pricing processes and approvals.

Academic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics ; Statistics ; Actuarial Science , Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, MBA) is advantageous

Work Experience:

Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services.
Strong background in pricing, profitability modelling, and financial analysis.
Experience working with product or business teams in a commercial or financial strategy role.
