At Cigicell, we’re looking for an experienced Key Account and Sales Manager to join our high-performing team and lead strategic account management efforts to drive revenue, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

Managing major customer accounts: Build and grow key relationships with municipalities, mid-tier companies, and corporate partners.
Identifying sales opportunities: Develop personal networks, represent the company at trade shows, and deliver compelling customer solutions.
Strategic account planning: Implement relationship management plans and ensure alignment with client needs and organisational goals.
Championing customer experience: Act as a voice of the customer internally, ensuring continuous service improvement.
CRM and data management: Ensure high-quality and up-to-date customer data to support growth and retention.
Sales presentations & negotiations: Tailor solutions and value propositions to client needs and negotiate effectively.

Requirements

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has 5+ years of sales experience, ideally within the municipal environment.
Understands how municipalities operate — this is essential.
Brings strong account management and business development skills.
People Management experience
Demonstrates a customer-first mindset with proven ability to drive results.
Is highly skilled in building networks, navigating complex clients, and solving challenges proactively.
Has a relevant university degree (or equivalent).

Education

Matric – Essential
Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience

The incumbent must have at least five (5) years sales experience in municipal environment.
Knowledge of how a municipality operates is a definite requirement.
Managerial experience – Advantageous.
