Minimum Requirements

Final year student in the engineering sciences or Undergraduate engineering degree.
Proficiency with English as a medium of communication.
No minimum work experience is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Supports Technical investigations, gathers and analyses data.

Gather and analyse process data related to manufacturing processes and equipment.
Troubleshoot, make assessments, complete calculations, develop solutions.
Works with others to prepare relevant documentation, i.e. URS, SOPs, validation protocols and reports.

Supports project planning, execution and delivery.

Attend project and team meetings, documenting actions and tracking progress as needed.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project tasks to ensure timely and efficient execution under supervision.
Support equipment installations and qualifications by coordinating resources, documenting activities, and ensuring GMP compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data, analyse performance, and implement process improvements effectively.

Supports plant equipment commissioning and maintenance activities.

Assists the Engineering team with scheduled as well as unscheduled activities.
Assist in preparing and executing equipment commissioning protocols and related documentation.
Troubleshoot, make assessments, complete calculations, develop solutions to resolve equipment issues and optimize performance.

Complies with Good Manufacturing Procedures and other relevant legislation, i.e. OHSAct.

Works with others to ensure manufacturing Engineering SOP’s are up-to-date.
Participates in validation studies as required.
Works in a safe manner and assists others to do the same.
Ensure that appropriate PPE is worn.
Reports non-conformances, SHE issues, and breakdowns to senior team members.
Act as Safety Rep, Evacuation Team Leader or First-Aider as required.
