We are proud to own and control our entire supply chain, with our manufacturing facilities based in Lesotho and Mauritius, producing over 40 000 garments a day. These garments are distributed through our state-of-the-art Distribution Centre based in Johannesburg, which has the capacity to move 20 million pieces annually. Our Headquarters are located at the historic Lion Match building in Durban with our raw materials warehouse strategically located in the Riverhorse precinct, which serves as a central storage space for fabric and trims, helping us ensure efficient turnaround times. With our iconic stores located nationwide, we can cater the widest range of workwear to fit all industries. Each of our stores are equipped with friendly product experts, convenient customisation facilities and complimentary coffee while you shop. To oversee this integral channel, we’re looking for a forward-thinking and commercially astute Ecommerce Leader. With your strategic vision and hands-on expertise, you’ll take ownership of the Jonsson Workwear ecommerce journey, ensuring a seamless experience for customers across both desktop and mobile web.
Drawing on your self-starting initiative and through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll pilot and fast-track new ways to continually improve our website’s functionality. With every step forward, you’ll create a brilliant, customer-centric online experience that empowers hardworking people in every industry.

The proactive and visionary Ecommerce Leader best suited to the role will:

Create a seamless ecommerce journey that delivers the same exceptional user experience to individuals, small businesses and large corporate clients alike.
Create an intuitive ecommerce journey across desktop and mobile web that consistently enables our customers to confidently shop online.
Oversee both frontend and backend operations to ensure a smooth, world-class ecommerce experience.
Lead the migration of customers to our online workwear management platform, providing training to both external customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing success.
Guide the ecommerce strategy with a strong customer-first approach, creating an exceptional online experience that ultimately drives sales and meets performance goals.
Collaborate with teams across the business, as well as third-party service providers, to create a customer-inspired experience that aligns with our ecommerce vision.
Provide sound leadership and mentorship to the ecommerce team, inspiring a culture of ongoing learning that supports the growth and success of our online store.
Proactively identify and implement improvements to platform functions and processes using insights from customer behaviour, sales performance and analytics.
Align every improvement with our customers’ changing needs, continually exceeding expectations in how we equip them for peak performance.
