Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field;
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media and/or event management;
Experience in or interest in the agricultural sector is strongly recommended;
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to rural areas.

Skills:

Strong understanding of the agricultural community and communication in a rural context;
Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English;
Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite and other social media management platforms;
Self-motivated with good planning and time management skills;
Creative mindset with an eye for design and content creation;
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills;
Experience in event planning, preferably in an agricultural or rural environment;
Basic photography and videography skills would be a bonus.

Responsibilities:

Social media and digital marketing;
Event coordination.
