Requirements
Clear Criminal record.
Shall be registered with Statutory Body, SACPCMP, as Safety Officer.
Minimum 5 Years experience as SACPCMP as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
Minimum of 5 Years experience as Safety Officer on ESKOM Sites.
A recognized safety certification (minimum: of 2 weeks training) (e.g. SAMTRAC / Modern SHEQ Management course).
OH&S Act and Regulations (latest version of the Act and regulations);
COID Act (latest version of the Act);
Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Technique;
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training;
Health & Safety Auditing;
Environmental Compliance Recognized Course;
Emergency Preparedness Coordination Training;
Advantageous:
National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health.
ISO 45001 Implementation and Auditing Courses.
Power Plant Construction & Commissioning experience.
ESKOM Plant Safety Regulations (PSR) experience.
Medically Fit.
Own Transport.
