Description
Coordinating and prioritizing ventilation and occupational hygiene services delivery.
Implementing and maintaining ventilation and occupational hygiene monitoring program.
Conducting risk assessments and hazard identifications, identifying potential hazardous materials and installations, and investigating challenges encountered.
Ensuring that all working conditions are regulatory audited
Establish and maintain emergency preparedness program
Assist with ventilation and rescue plans by providing updated information on ventilation and escape route plans
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications with Maths and Science
Intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control (COM).
The applicant should be a member of Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Ventilation and Occupation Hygiene practices.
Valid certificate of physical fitness for underground work.
Ability to communicate with people on different levels.
Computer literacy. (Excel, Word, Power point)
Report writing and presentation skills.
