Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This position is ideal for an accountant with a strong foundation in accounting principles and application, experience in data analysis and reporting. You’ll play a key role in financial management, reporting, and analysis, handling larger datasets, and supporting the finance team in strategic decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs and analysis.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Data Management:
Work with large datasets and utilize tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Use pivot tables and other Excel functions for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Use other BI related software and models to assist with data analysis and reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting Support::
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support company strategy.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
Drive efficiencies with business by highlighting and resolving process inefficiencies
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present financial data and insights to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
Collaborate with teams across departments, explaining complex data in a way that aids decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
Non-Negotiable Experience
1-3 years of post-articles experience.
Reporting and analysis experience.
Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables.
Preferred Experience
Experience with SAP, QlikView and Qliksense.
Team management experience is beneficial.
Comfortable working with large datasets for analysis and reporting.
Exposure to/Knowledge of
Excel and the full MS Office suite.
