The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Working with various stakeholders to ensure that the eThekwini communication operation effectively delivers the key messages of the Party
Managing and coordinating the communications of the Party within the metro, and between the province and national, through all available media platforms
Providing effective and efficient research and political support to the members of the eThekwini caucus
Requirements
Minimum requirements:
National Senior certificate or equivalent
Tertiary qualification in media, communications or public relations (advantageous)
Experience:
2 years in a similar role
Writing and editing letters
Social media management
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily business use
Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
