Minimum Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and studying towards a PhD.
A Degree in Chemical Engineering (e.g BTech, BEng, BScEng, Advanced Diploma, National Diploma).
At least 3 years of teaching experience / professional experience.
Good communication and lecturing skills.
A strong passion for teaching and research.
Registrable as a professional engineer or engineering technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Summary of Duties:
Teach Chemical Engineering subjects at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
Supervision of postgraduate projects and postgraduate students.
Development of learning material for different courses.
Actively involved in research and research activities.
Active participation in industrial projects
Knowledge of online learning software, g. Moodle, Blackboard, Teams.
Participation in community engagement projects
Assist with administrative duties as delegated.
Any other duties as prescribed by the Head of Department.
Registered or qualifies for registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
