As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a General Worker with our RCL FOODS Speciality Spartan operating unit. This individula will be responsible to perform general duties in the Supply Chain space.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum appropriate qualification (preferrable) e.g. Grade 12/Equivalent NQF 4 Qualification.
Forklift License.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work in a team and individually.
Problem solving technique.
Must be able to read and write eligible.
Smartech knowledge.
Duties & Responsibilities
General
Assist in any activities or tasks as requested by the Warehouse Administrator.
There will also be a requirement to work overtime on weekends in order to do deliveries or assist the Stores team with onsite tasks.
As required, the Warehouse Administrator may delegate his supervisory tasks and system transactions to the General Worker during overtime or weekends
Safety and Security
Comply with applicable company policies including health, safety, environment, risk and quality, including HACCP/ISO.
Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Accepting Stock
Accepting stock from production by scanning all labels to complete the transactions on Smartech.
