Minimum Requirements 

Grade 12 plus a relevant National Diploma at NQF level 6; 
1 – 3 years’ experience in a related field, must have worked in a unit of a similar size or bigger; 
Understanding of the public sector industry will be an advantage. 

Primary Function: 

Provide an administrative support service associated with the provisions of effective document management and information systems, flow and management of correspondence, retrieval and the filing of files and disposal of obsolete files in line with the relevant guidelines, standards and legislation.  

Key Performance Areas:.

Ensure that effective administrative support is provided to the department for an effective document and information system. Mail correspondence; 
Classify, register, scan and save all records and documents into electronic system; 
File, retrieve and dispose of obsolete documents/records and files; 
Assist with office administration and general office administration; 
Document management and archiving; registering and mailroom; 
Monthly compliance reporting to the Group EXCO.
