Minimum Qualification / Requirements:
Studying towards a Mining Engineering qualification.
Willing to learn and be trained
Administrative skills and Microsoft knowledge.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Soild knowledge to read and interpret mining plans.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):
Learning operational processes.
Assist with improving mining efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
Conduct safety inspections in the pit and around the site.
Assist during blasting preparations.
Analyse blast outcomes with blaster.
Assist with short-term planning.
Assist in daily shift documentation and reporting.
Complete the vacation work program
