Job Primary Purpose

The University of Mpumalanga invites applications for nGAP Lectureship in IsiNdebele. This is a permanent post at the Lecturer level. 
The nGAP is positioned by the Department of Higher Education and Training as a prestigious programme in the sector, and candidates who demonstrate a passion for following a career as an academic and who have demonstrated high academic ability will be recruited.

Key Performance Areas:

The provision of some leadership at the module level.
Provision of theoretically informed and pedagogically sound teaching of IsiNdebele.
Research and the production of accredited research outputs. 
Engagement, through which knowledge and skills are used to benefit the discipline/ profession and  the community

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must have at least a Master’s qualification in an appropriate field of study.
Be a South African Citizen.
Prospective candidates should have achieved an average of 70% or above in the preceding degree, which should be a minimum of a Master’s degree.
Be 40 years or younger.
Be prepared and able to undertake and complete postgraduate studies at the doctoral level.
